Late to work this morning and it's the Gerbils fault!!!

Was awakened this morning sometime during the 3:00 hour to a beep, the sound of my cell phone rocking on the nightstand and the glow from the display lighting up my room.  For those who don't know, I use my cell phone as an alarm clock and set it on my nightstand usually out of reach of Fancy and Madeline whose cage is also on the nightstand.  (Okay, so it's actually a bi-level end table, sue me).  Well, apparently, I didn't set it far enough away from the cage and one of them had snagged it, pulled it to the cage and they were playing with it through the bars.  I moved it back out of their reach and went back to sleep.  No big deal.  Woke up several hours later and noticed it was pretty light in the room.  So, I figured it was close to time for my alarm to go off and waited for that to happen.  After a while, decided to check my phone and see how long I had until the alarm went off.  The time?  8:20!!!  Those little buggers had succeeded in turning the sound all the way off, so not even the alarm went off at 7:30.  Guess they kinda punished themselves since I let them out of their cage when the alarm goes off.  This means they were stuck in their cage until I checked the time and got up and it made me a little late for work.

In other news:
Finished the mock-up of the corset last night and just dropped it off at the post office :)

Work is going okay and I now have food so will eat and work at the same time :D
