Better today...
May. 4th, 2007 09:39 amWell, I was almost afraid that I wouldn't be traveling this weekend after last night. Got home after work and the bridge of my nose felt like it was going to explode, my ears felt as if they were full of compressed cotton and I was dizzy like I hadn't been in years. I ate a little, attempted some sewing and then relented to bed because I couldn't stand without holding onto something. Laid down for two hours, got up took a Tylenol Sinus and went back to bed for another hour. Finally remembered that Wayne had invited me over to Brewer's place for a get together that was to happen last night and tried calling Wayne. Cell was off and Claudia told me when I called the house that he was a Brewers. Said she would have him call me if he hadn't heard from me when he got home. Called Brewer's and everyone had just left. Chatted with Chris for a bit, then tried calling Wayne at home again. Justin said he'd have Wayne call me when he got home. I stayed up waiting on the call and discovered that if I concentrated real hard on a single task, the dizziness subsided enough to actually sew. Surprisingly enough, I got quite a bit done on my cloak. Wayne never called and I was in bed by midnight.
This morning, no dizziness except when I think about. Woke up early, played a little with the short, fuzzy one and then hopped into the shower. Now, I'm at work and the sleepiness is kicking back in again, but otherwise I'm okay. Was afraid that I was getting another inner ear infection, which would have meant no work today, having a friend take me to the doc and missing the wedding this weekend. Here's hoping it was just a sinus thing that has passed.
