Decent Weekend

Talked to a gentleman I've known for 10 yrs. now, but never met in person. He wanted to get some info from me on something, but didn't want to do it through internet channels, so sent me his cell phone number and I called him when I got off of work. We talked for about 20 minutes and it was nice.
Hung around the house that evening waiting for Adkins headache and the storms to pass. Headed to Morganton around 8:00 and got there a little before 11:00. Stayed up late chatting with Jevan (sp) and![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
noreht waiting for bioignis to get there. Had taken my kinsale cloak along and whip-stitched the collar down while chatting.
Saturday, finished the collar on the cloak and started the hem. Everyone got ready to go and we left the house around 11:00 as we had to pick up a few things and decorate the location for the wedding before it started at 1:00. While waiting in the parking lot, I finished everything on the cloak except the top-stitching I'm going to do on the collar.
The wedding was different and beautiful!shdwkitten was gorgeous and emrys_nc was glad that the shirt I'd made was cotton instead of linen because it was cold. Yes, this was an outdoor wedding and yes, there was rain. I don't think I took my cloak off at all, although I did share it a bit with a couple of people. It was good to get together with calmacil as well. Since I'd forgotten my camera, Emrys gave me his and I took lots of pictures with it, I just hope they turned out okay.
Left there about 4:00 because Adkins had said he would take me to see Spiderman 3 that night. Got home a little before 8 and we caught the 8:45 showing. I liked the movie, but would have liked more shots with venom. It seemed like they tried to pack too much into this one and no one storyline got the full attention it deserved. But I still enjoyed it and wouldn't mind seeing it again.
Sunday we went up to Sci Fi City for the Warmachine league. I got in my second game and lost. It was fun though and Mike is a good opponent. Dave played his first league game at 1000 pts and lost it. Currently, there are only 6 people signed up for the league which is kinda sad since there were 15 of us last season. I think we all had fun though. Came home that evening, fixed some dinner and started on some rabbit fur mittens.
I slept really well last night. Went to sleep pretty quickly and didn't wake up until the alarm went off this morning. Still sleepy though. Well, guess I should get back to work...
