The month of Travel is about to begin...
May. 1st, 2007 12:21 pmThe weekend went okay. Adkins was finally able to get rid of his xBox 360. Saturday, we watched movies and Sunday we spent the afternoon at Sci Fi City playing Warmachine. I got in a good game against John while Dave played against one of the younger kids who's playing Hordes.
This weekend starts my month of travel. I'll be traveling to Morganton, NC for emrys_nc and shdwkitten's wedding. Will be driving over Friday evening. May decide to stay in Asheville Saturday night, but haven't made up my mind on that one yet.
The next two Saturdays, I'll be driving up to Rogersville, TN for rehearsals for the Shakespeare and Friends in the Park Renaissance Festival. It should prove interesting to be a part of the main cast for once :) I look forward to seeing everyone there and hope that all of you that can will come up for the festival.
The last weekend in May is Wonderfest in Louisville, KY. Adkins, Corwin and I will be driving up at gods-awful-thirty in the morning that Saturday and then coming home after the con ends on Sunday. Dave's taking about 10 models up for the paint contest. With my needing new costume stuff for the renfaire, most of my paint projects have been shoved to the back burner.
And the month of travel doesn't end with Wonderfest, it continues into June. Friday, June 1st, I'll be driving up to Rogersville for a work day plus the faire begins at 10:00 a.m. the next day. I'll be in Rogersville until the faire ends Sunday evening and we've completed breakdown and clean-up of all the stages. Should be home sometime late Sunday evening.
So, if any of you need to reach me on a weekend, call me. I'll have my cell phone with me, but don't expect an answer on the rehearsal Saturdays between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. During that time, we'll be rehearsing and I'll have my phone turned off.
