House update

So, they did the appraisal yesterday.  The mortage agent had said she would call me late yesterday or this morning to let me know what the results were, but never heard from her.  Did hear from Alicia yesterday.  She said that the house appraised right at $60,000.  It also stated that there is chipped paint on one corner of the foundation of the house.  Because this house is 60 yrs. old and we did not get a lead test done on the house, that paint has to be scraped clean, sanded and repainted.  Alicia has asked the listing agent about having the seller take care of this, but I've not heard back from her today either.  Will call her tomorrow.

In other news, we may be closing on the house next week.  Plus, Sci Fi City is finally having a Warmachine/Hordes mixed tournament next Saturday.  So, of course, I'm scheduled to work and can't get anyone to swap days off with me.  Sigh...  Maybe next time.
