Unhappiness

Well, I was looking forward to bringing Maelona's dog home with us Sunday, but that's been squelched. Got home last night to find out that Aikidragon's mom had called and told him that since the trailer and the property belonged to them, they did not want us bringing in any more pets, even if they were to be outdoor animals. This upset me because we'd already told Maelona that it looked like we'd be bringing the dog home with us this weekend. Aiki was upset because this means that since we can't take the dog that unless someone else accepts it, Maelona's mom will have it put to sleep. Not a happy situation on either part.

Sigh...doesn't make for a pleasant day. Aiki sent Maelona an e-mail last night to explain the situation. At least Aiki was honest with me about it. Neither of us is happy with the situation, but there's nothing we can do about it until we can get a place of our own...sigh...I look forward to that day. I hate having other people dictate to me what I can and can't do.

On another note, I now know what's wrong with my back. Seems I've had whiplash since I was 3. The spine coming out of my skull curves properly until about the midpoint of my neck where it has decided to try to go the opposite direction from what it should. Movement and growth have kept it from growing together so far, but it has started growing spurs and would within the next year or two have started fusing the bones together. The doc seems to think we can correct it, so that's what we're going to try. Along with that, only one rib had moved back out of place. There were a few vertebrae down my back that are misaligned and my hip bone is twisted a little. Once everything is back in place permanently I should feel much better and not so sleepy all the time :)
