Well, life has been interesting and boring at the same time.

The long weekend was nice. It allowed aikidragon and I to get some cleaning done at the house, but not near as much as I'd like to have gotten done.

Sunday was the production meeting for "Into the Woods" with rehearsals starting this past Tuesday. The music is coming together slowly, but it's coming. We've still got one part to cast and one to recast.

Monday, aikidragon and I went and bought a new washer, which was installed yesterday. Our old one had decided that when it drained the rinse cycle that it should drain it into the floor. Didn't do this on the wash, only on the rinse. The new one got new hoses and everything and works wonderfully :)

Did 2 loads of clothes on Monday at aiki's mom's place while helping her with some scanning. She needs surgery to get her rotator cuff fixed, but keeps putting it off; not sure why.

My back finally reached the point where Monday evening at which it refused to be ignored anymore. It took some essential oils that help the muscles relax and 2 ibuprofen before I could get to sleep. Tuesday I got hold of a chiropracter who scheduled me for an appointment yesterday evening. Got there a little after 5:00 yesterday to discover that I had not one, but four ribs out of place. The doc seemed surprised that I wasn't having more headaches or upset stomach. An hour and a half and $270 later I was starting to feel better. I go back this evening so he can see how much stayed put and we can discuss the scans and xrays they took yesterday. I think at least one of the ribs is back out again and there was an audible pop from my left shoulder yesterday evening when I was getting into the car after rehearsal for "Into the Woods". This is going to be one long, painful recovery...sigh...

Now all I need to do is remember the name of that massage therapist that Heather told me about and I'll be okay.

Renfaire in Rogersville, TN this weekend. I'll be storytelling and selling tarts as a roaming vendor again. I'll be telling stories for the dragon egg hunt and the rat hunt. At least, those are the only times that I'm scheduled to do storytelling. Debbie does such a wonderful job with the faire. This time, we'll be coming home from the faire with a new dog. Maelona's mom is moving to Nebraska and doesn't want to take the dog and she's not been able to find anyone near her who will take it, so they're going to bring it up to us on Sunday at the faire. Heh, should be interesting to see how Bagheera reacts. Took him about a month to get used to Sugar. Hope it doesn't take as long for him to get used to another dog.

Well, not much else going on at the moment. Guess I should get back to work.
