Job News

Wouldn't ya know it.  I'm finally making progress towards getting those certifications and yesterday and today I've had people call me from Teksystems with help desk jobs.  Yesterdays was looking for someone to come and work permanent and stick around for a long time.  Pay was $13/hr.  Today's call was for Pilot gas stations, 6 month contract-to-hire.  Guy told me it could start at $14/hr, then later stated that the pay rate listed is $11-$14/hr.  My luck, they'd try to bring me in at $11/hr and that won't cut it.

Going to look at it and consider it, but not sure I'm going to go for it.  The schedule would be Thurs-Mon, 3:00 pm to 11 pm.  Seeing as how the only times I see Adkins is on Mon and Fri evenings and I have a standing RPG game on Sat. nights, it would kill my social life.
