Job news

Just found out that my interview with Roane State has been canceled.  For the first time since she started this process, the lady in charge of CTAT finally went to HR to set up an interview and was told that since my application came in after the deadline that she'd have to interview all other applicants before she could interview me.  She copied the lady in charge of HR on the e-mail.  I responded to all asking her if this meant that I wouldn't be considered at all and letting the lady in charge of HR know that I had sent my application in because someone in her office had told me that I could still be considered because their site hadn't been updated to state that they were already conducting interviews.

I'm sorry, but the having to interview all other applicants is complete and utter bull shit.  They only need interview the ones that who's qualifications met the job requirements.  I've no idea how many there were, but I'm sure that not all of them met the requirements.  And I can tell you straight up that Gail didn't go through HR when she conducted the other interviews because if she had, HR would have updated their job listings to state the interviews were being conducted.  That update was made today.

Needless to say, I'm not happy about this.

Oh, and no word back yet on the job I interviewed for yesterday.  Should know something on that one early next week, but not getting my hopes up.
