Done, Finally!

Well, that big commission piece that I was working on is finally done, picked up and paid for :)

Finished up the hand-stitching on it on Friday. Had loads of plans for yesterday and didn't get much of it done. I had wanted to go to the art show in Saluda to see queenpie and all her stuff, but hadn't realized that it was the same weekend I had 3 other things going on. aikidragon and I had planned to take the animals to the vet, but after he paid bills he didn't have to money to pay for his cat, so that has been put off until next weekend. Finished running the lacing ribbons on the corset and then headed out to Hancock Fabrics about 3:00 to drop off the dress, get pics and get paid.

amberblue tried on the dress and seemed very pleased with it. We got pics. I'll try to get them posted later this week. I took my payment and headed to the Olive Garden to treat myself to dinner. Their Chicken Caprese is scrumptious!!! From there, it was off to the theatre to run follow spot for Bachelor Pad and then over to nachtwulf and silverbec's for gaming. We rolled up new 3.5 characters for short game and headed home around 2:30 a.m.

Today, I've spent most of the day at the theatre. Call was at 1:00, show ran at 2:30 and then we had the archive photo session afterwards. It was 7:15 when I left the theatre. Will spend the next week cleaning house. Thinking of going ahead and trying to get my Elizabethan boned tabbed corset done before Shakespeare and Friends the first weekend of June, but not sure about.

Well, going for some food. Hungry.
