Weird Dreams

Let's try this again. Wrote this up once earlier, but LJ ate it.

Slept pretty well last night, but woke up several times. First time was at 4:00 a.m., but don't recall any dreams. Second time was about an hour later, maybe. I woke up dreaming that a friend and I were at the hospital with another friend. Who these people were, I don't recall. The friend who was in the hospital was in a come and brain dead. They'd left a my other friend and I as co-consecutors (I think that's right) of a living will and the doc was asking what we wanted to do. My friend and I were weeping and I asked the doc if the person in the hospital would ever wake up. He said being brain dead made that an impossibility. Knowing this met the requirements of the living will, I was the one who had to tell the doc to pull the plug. Right after that I woke up. Wasn't sad or upset when I woke, but confused for some reason. Only thing I can think could have triggered this one was my mom telling me Sunday evening that her sister had just gotten out of the hospital Sunday afternoon. Her sis has bone cancer pretty badly, but keeps trucking along as best she can. Curious as to why it took this long to show up in a dream though...

Last time I woke up was right before the alarm went off at 6:00 a.m. Dreamt that I was in a small house chasing a couple of kids around getting them ready to go to school. Kids weren't mine, so not sure why I was there and doing this. Also, not sure why I was going to school with them, but remember that I was also getting ready for school, almost as if I were back in high school (yech, hated high school). Add to that, sergi_karento was there following me around chatting and keeping me company. What's weird about this is that it's probably the latest after meeting someone for the first time that they've shown up in a dream. Anyway, he walked with us to the bus stop, only we saw the bus pull out when we were still a block away. We made a left turn and went to the other corner of the block we were on because we knew the bus would be by there soon and would stop for us. Once we got to the other corner, we set down our school stuff and started chatting and that's when I woke up. Not got a clue where that one came from. And sergi_karento's is the only face I remember or recognized from the dream. Didn't recognize any of the locations.

Strange. These are by no means the weirdest dreams I've had, but weird enough.

Anyway, back to work and fretting about tonight's tech rehearsal...sigh...
