Went looking for a large tape dispenser this morning at the house. Didn't find it, but did find my missing swordbelt with my pouch. Now I have my stuff back and I'm a happier camper. Yes, for those in the know, this means I have my wenchs guilde pin and favorite lipstick again :D Did find the tape dispenser I was looking for once I got to work.
In other news, went by and picked up ladysnowleopard last night for bellydance class. It was a good thing I did, as I hadn't been to the school before and when giving me directions, ladysnowleopard had forgotten a stop sign that would have thrown me off and I'd probably still be wondering around Asheville lost...Anyway, class went well. Finally got to meet Onca :) She's nice, and I like her teaching style so far. If last night is any indication, I'm guessing this will definitely help with my back problems. My hip is still hurting from class last night. It hasn't stretched like that in a very long time :)
After class, we went to Office Depot to pick up some supplies, then down to Barnes & Noble to see
satyrblade for a few minutes. Got there just as he was going on break. We sat out front and chatted for a bit, then he had to return to work and I took ladysnowleopard home. We shared a bit of coffee and conversation there, then I headed home.
All-in-all, a very nice relaxing evening. I find it kinda funny though. I've mentioned this to a few people, but it seems odd to me that it took me until my mid-30's to finally start making some good friends who are female. Never had a problem relating to guys, but never got into the same things the other girls/women around me enjoyed. Maybe it had to do with where I grew up, maybe not. Just find it odd. I'm finally making female friends who don't want to just chat a little and make a pretense at friendship, but people who will actually respond to my posts here, a few who will actually call and have conversations with me just so we can catch up with one another or just because they wanted to talk. Feels weird, but at the same time actually feels kinda nice. Should be interesting to see what other changes may come :)
