Good news and Bad news
Feb. 21st, 2005 02:53 pmThe good news is that my co-worker and his wife had their baby yesterday. The docs had planned to put her in the hospital this evening, induce labor tomorrow and send her home on Monday, but apparently the baby had different ideas. Danielle, Mike's wife, had a hard pregnancy so I'm sure they're glad that part's over.
More good news, sort of. Saturday, went to Foust's in Kings Mountain to meet up with some of the ladies from the Wenchs guild and to buy fabric. Had good conversation with Tobie on the way since he went with. He behaved himself pretty well :) Came home with around $120 in fabric. Believe me, if I'd bought it elsewhere, it would have cost me almost double that! Enjoyed getting to meet up with the wenches and met another young man who's involved with the renfaires. Will definitely have to go back to Foust's :) Bought fabric to make Aikidragon a doublet and pants, material for skirts for me. Nothing was less than 10 yrds. so all the rest will go into making children's clothing.
Bad news is that Saturday I had the sniffles all day. Left side of my sinuses kept running. Sunday, got up with my sinuses still giving me problems and a headache in my right temple. Finally bumped the headache with some Tylenol Sinus. This morning the head didn't hurt, but I feel like shit. Wouldn't have come into work, but I knew that Mike wouldn't be here. All I want to do is go home, curl up in the bed with my teddy bears and sleep. Some hot tea would be nice too...maybe a little food...
