Shakespeare and Friends :)

 This weekend was the Shakespeare and Friends renfaire in Rogersville, TN.  When we had our one and only cast meeting 2 weeks before faire, we were told that due to lack of funding from grants and previous sponsors that if we did not get a good enough turn-out that the faire might go on hiatus next year.  I was scared that we might not have faire again if this happened.  Luckily, I need not worry now

Saturdays turn-out equalled our previous years entire weekend turnout.  There were lots of press there.  And the park was pretty crowded all weekend.  After faire closed last night, I spoke with one of the organizers who informed me that we had done well enough to have the faire again next year   Not only that, I had friends who attended both days and said that they were coming back next year for both days, all day.  One of them, when he came back yesterday, brought not only his daughter, but two other friends who also said they'd be there next year all day both days   

Got to see lots of people I usually only see at faire, some who hadn't been there in a while and made some new friends.  I spent most of the weekend running around with the Queens Court since I was one of her ladies in waiting.  After hours was spent visiting with friends and eating.  It was a great weekend and I believe everyone had a blast and was pleased.  Lots of funny things happened, I just can't remember them all right now.
