Sammy and Swordfighting

My friend Jammie brought her little Sugar Glider, Sammy, over Saturday afternoon.  He'ss taking a bit to get situated with my Fancy and Madeline.  Wouldn't you know it, both girls went into heat a day or two before I got Sammy.  They're past it now.  I kept Sammy with me all day Saturday, even took him with me to gaming that night.  Let him get a little close to Fancy and Madeline once I got home, but they kept heading the other direction when I'd get him near them.  Got Sammy and his pouch out of his cage yesterday morning and kept him with me all day again.  He's definitely adapted to me pretty well and even comes when I call him, which is something the girls don't do.  I let them get close to one another again ast night.  When Sammy got close to Madeline, she crabbed at him and bit him.  Even bit me when I went to separate the two.  Later, got Sammy and Fancy close and they went after each other.  Got bit by Sammy separating them that time.  Last night, the cages were quiet and they didn't seem angry when I got them close together this morning.  I think they're finally getting used to one another.  Guessing that in a day or two I'll be able to put them in the same cage for a bit :)

In other good news, our swordfighting classes are starting up here in Oak Ridge again.  We're meeting at one of the local karate dojo's.  First class is tonight at 7:00.  Looking forward to seeing some people I haven't seen in a good long time :)
