So, got up this morning, showered and called Adkins about possibly going to Boomsday tonight.  For those who don't know about Boomsday, it's a fireworks extravaganza held in Knoxville to celebrate Labor Day.  Since its inception, the display has been held on Monday night of the holiday weekend.  Apparently, this year, they decided to hold it on Sunday evening.  Adkins told me they had it on TV last night, so I checked the website, and sure enough, they had changed the date to Sunday.  Since I don't read the paper and it wasn't advertised on TV, or at least the cable company didn't run its ads on anything other than local channels, which I don't watch very often, I didn't see the date change.  Kinda makes sense because it does run kinda late and traffic is always a headache trying to get out afterwards.  Having it Sunday night means people can stay out late and not worry about being too groggy for work the next morning as they have all day Monday to recovery.  Still yet, would have been nice to see it.
