Job news...

This morning, my boss decides it's a holiday, so we're closing the office at noon.  I finished up what I was working on and then debated stopping at the gym to do my normal half-hour cardio workout.  Boy, am I glad I decided to stop :)  Did my workout and was on my way out when someone hollered at me.  I turned around to see an old friend that I'd worked with at Roane State.  He informed me that he's now the director for Roane State's Computer Training Center and that he wants me to come be an adjunct faculty member.  They put adjuncts on a 6 month contract, pay $35/hr and I'd be able to teach as many classes in whatever computer stuff I wanted to teach!  Told me to go by there and fill out paperwork tomorrow because they're closed today.

Also, mentioned to him about putting in for the CTAT job at Roane State.  He seems to think I'm a shoe in for that job and also told me to e-mail the HR director at Roane State and let her know that I'd forgotten to list him as a reference :)  BTW, found out Friday or Sat. evening, can't remember which, that the director of CTAT does want to interview me, just don't know when that's going to happen.

This means that even if neither of the full-time jobs I've put in for pan out, I still have something to fall back on until I do get something :D
