Small Furries
Jun. 7th, 2007 10:45 amSo, last night I had both Madeline and Fancy running around on me and in my office. I had Madeline on a leash so I could find her more easily. Luckily, she also has more brown in her coat where Fancy has none, so I can tell them apart pretty easily. Was also surprised that Madeline, being almost 6 months younger than Fancy, is actually bigger than Fancy. Must be a slightly different breed?
By the time I was getting ready for bed, both gliders were on my back checking each other out without any hissing, growling or barking. Kinda funny, Madeline is the only one at this point that has made any sounds at all. At one point, Fancy had crawled inside my t-shirt and went to sleep laying in the front of my bra. Madeline decided that was where she wanted to be, so came crawling around from my side and started going off on Fancy who was fast asleep. Fancy never even flinched, didn't acknowledge it in the slightest. Madeline finally gave up and went to sleep in a curl of fabric at the hem of my t-shirt, later coming out to play in my office. I put them in separate cages at first, but neither seemed to like that, so moved Madeline into Fancy's cage since it is the largest cage I have. Madeline kept moving around inspecting the cage and Fancy was trying to crawl all over her, sniffing her, preening on her and just checking out the new girl :) I heard a couple of little hisses during the night, but no all out wars. When I got up this morning, both were curled up together in Madeline's pouch. After getting dressed for work, I pulled out Madeline's pouch and have them with me here at work. They're still curled up together sleeping.
