Life and house update

So, tonight I begin staying at my cousin Lena's place.  If all goes well, I'll be there until the 28th.  Wednesday, I talked to 2 of the 3 home inspectors for whom Alicia had given me information.  Got their pricing and called Alicia to verify what she had said about the 3rd one.  Friday, I called the third one and set up an appointment with him to have the house inspected this coming Friday afternoon.  As long as the house passes inspection and the appraisal, I'll be set to move in on the 28th.  Here's hoping all goes well.  Found out Friday that the couple selling the house have never lived there, so they are unaware of anything that may need fixing.

Saturday, most of my stuff to Lena & Ken's place.  Dropped off Christmas presents there and at my brothers place.  Adkins went along and played with the dogs.  This was the first time that I'd gotten to meet Katy's new golden retriever, Tracy.  Afterwards, Dave and I went to Mr. K's Used books, got some dinner at Shoney's then went back the Wayne and Claudia's to watch movies.  While watching one show, Wayne told us that Corwin has that new Marvel game for the X-Box 360.  So, when the movies were over, Dave pulled out the 360 and played until after 3:00 a.m.  I sat there and watched helping him remember where he needed to go, what he needed to do.  Slept like the dead after he left.

I'll be making a pit stop by W&C's tonight after work to pick up the last of my stuff and then heading over to L&K's.  I'll be sleeping on an air mattress on the floor in one of their upstairs rooms and sharing a bathroom with their grown daughter, Jeanette.  Lena was warning me that I'd have to to get onto Jeanette constantly about cleaning up.  One of hte good things about staying with L&K is that they don't allow their animals inside.  This past week, they've been letting one of the cats stay inside during the night and my allergies are starting to kick in big time.  

Well, guess I should get off of here and get some work done.
