First week, so far...

First week out of OCP has gone well so far. I was off on Monday, so went and got the thermostat replaced on my car. Yay! I have heat again! Not that I really need it that badly at the moment. Temperatures here are actually mild. Went to visit with my cousin Lena and her family Monday evening. Yesterday being Halloween (Samhain) we dressed up at work. I wore my black leather pants, thigh high boots, green and tan leather underbust corset and a men's Italian Renaissance shirt. Also adorned my cavalier hat, belt with patches and my fairy puppet. Got lots of compliments on the costume. The major event at work was the fire alarm going off at 10:30 p.m. We had to wait until the fire department gave us the all clear before we could go back into the building. It was 11:00 when we finally got back in the building.

Didn't have to be to work today until 5:30 this afternoon. Got up, showered, fixed breakfast and then started doing laundry. I'd bring the clean, dry stuff up and fold it while watching television. Watched Numbers and then caught a marathon of Project Runway season 1. I'd not seen any of the season 1 episodes until today. There were some beautiful pieces and some awful ones. Season 1 was definitely very different from the next two seasons. You can tell they were going through a learning process when trying to run the show. Either way, I enjoyed seeing the design process and the outfits they were creating. Would like to see the rest of the episodes.

Well, not much else to write about. Still haven't seen "The Prestige" yet. May get to see it Friday with Adkins, will see. I have Friday off this week. Next week, I only have 1 day off: Friday, but 3 days I'm only working 5.5 hrs. although I'm still getting 40 hrs.

Time to get some work done.
