Job Update
Mar. 6th, 2006 02:08 pmWell, asked my boss if he'd heard anymore about the contract negotiations. Turns out that Eaton wants to work with ATS on a Global scale since Eaton is a Global company. This is all fine and dandy except that ATS is not yet a global company. So, if ATS isn't willing to go that direction yet, then they may lose the contract on that basis alone. Bottom line, when the contract is up at the end of March, I may be training someone to take over my position for the month of April or I may be looking to start my children's historical costuming business full force.
At least when I told my Dad about it his response was, "Well, that's what you've wanted to do all along anyway isn't it?" He actually seemed more supporting of my wanting to do that than anything else I've ever talked about doing. We'll see how it goes.
In other news, the weekend wasn't that bad, but it could have been better. Worked Saturday, so I get Wednesday off. Gaming Sunday started later than it was supposed to, which didn't please me at all, but I did finish all but the bottom hem on the chemise for
amberblue. Next, will do the skirts leaving the hems unfinished until I can try them on her and pin the up properly. Hope to get at least one skirt done tonight, we'll see.
Not much else going on, so guess I'd best get back to work.
