Tired, so tired...
Feb. 9th, 2005 08:50 amWhy is it that on weekends, I can sleep about 7-8 hrs? If I wake up during that time, I can usually fall asleep again and wind up with about 8-10 hrs. of sleep and/or rest. But during the week I can't seem to get more than 5-6 hrs. of sleep and when I wake up I can't go back to sleep. Woke up at 5:00 a.m. Monday morning, an hour before my alarm was set to go off. Yesterday and this morning I woke up at 4:00 a.m. It's leaving me wasted during the day. I'm lethargic, sleepy as hell and completely unmotivated to do anything. When I get home from work in the evenings, I'm so tired that I don't even get on my computer any longer than it takes me to check my e-mail and boards once, then I vege on the couch until Aikidragon pulls me up and puts me to bed (about 10:00 the past couple of nights). He usually stays up until at least 10:30 or 11:00 and plays Everquest. Me, I'm not even motivated enough to read. The other night I drank a glass of wine before going to bed, hoping that would help. I woke up 5 hrs. later and never went back to sleep. Anyone got any ideas as to what may be going on with my system?
Thanks to the ladies of the Local 96 of the International Wenches Guilde, I've found some recipes that I may be incorporating into my tart vending. One of the ladies posted a link to http://godecookery.com/ and I've already tried 3 recipes from there, two are possibilities for the vending. The Torta Inivre is a chicken pie and the Mushroom Pasty is a mushroom and cheese pie. I made one batch of each on Sunday for a gaming group, five of us, and out of 12 Torta Inivre and 10 Mushroom Pasties, only 5 total were left and they went home with 2 of the guys. I count those as a success.
Geek Patrol, would you like me to make them for the game Saturday to let you guys try them?
Guess I oughtta try to get some work done today.
